A BOAT being towed Wednesday along U.S. Route 1 northbound became wedged in the overpass spanning the Topsham exit. Brunswick police as well as workers from the Maine Department of Transportation arrived to attempt to lower the trailer and free the boat. Traffic was backed up on the Topsham exit for several minutes while the boat was being dislodged.
