MANCHESTER, N.H.

Harold Ramirez doubled and singled twice, driving home three runs as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats topped the Portland Sea Dogs 11-6 on Wednesday.

Ryan Hissey homered and singled with two runs for New Hampshire.

New Hampshire started the scoring with a big third inning, when it scored five runs, including a two-run single by Ramirez.

After the teams traded runs in the fourth, the Sea Dogs cut into the deficit with four runs in the fifth inning, including a two-run triple by Nick Lovullo.

The Fisher Cats later added four runs in the fifth and one in the eighth. In the fifth, Connor Panas hit a three-run home run, while Hissey hit a solo home run in the eighth.

Craig Breslow (1-0) earned the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Portland starter Matthew Kent (5-5) took the loss in the Eastern League game.

For the Sea Dogs, Johnny Bladel singled three times, scoring two runs. Lovullo tripled and singled, driving home two runs.
