BRUNSWICK — On Tuesday, Nov. 12, Community Health Information Partnership, or CHIP, will sponsor a “Diabetes & Pre-Diabetes: A Walk-Through Event” at Curtis Memorial Library on Pleasant Street.

From 9:30 to 11 a.m., patrons can learn about managing or preventing the risk of diabetes by visiting numerous stations within the library, participating in lifestyle and behavior surveys, as well as other informational activities.

Door prizes will be provided by Bath YMCA, Maine Pines Racquet and Fitness, Running Start and Women’s Fitness Studio and Spa.

The event is free and no advance registration is required.

Community Health Information Partnership, which includes partners Curtis Memorial Library, Mid Coast Hospital and Parkview Adventist Medical Center.
