BRUNSWICK — The Dean Snell Cancer Foundation will hold its third annual Thanks for Giving Gala Charity Event, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at The Inn at Brunswick Station.
The event includes a silent auction with items and services from local businesses, artisans and craftspeople; along with appetizers and dessert with a live jazz trio and cash bar.

Since 2009, the nonprofit foundation has provided financial assistance to patients receiving treatment at the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine in Brunswick, including food, gas and personal needs; utility bills; car, rent and mortgage payments and more.
