TOPSHAM — Wright-Pierce, an employee-owned, multi-disciplinary environmental engineering firm, has been recognized again this year by Engineering News Record as one of the “Top 200” environmental firms in the country.

ENR, a trade publication of the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry, compiles and publishes annual rankings of engineering and construction firms in the U.S.

In the Top 200 environmental firms for the past nine years, Wright-Pierce’s ranking on the 2018 list rose based on the company’s continued growth.

John Braccio, Wright-Pierce president and CEO, said, “The need to ensure the reliable performance of our extensive but aging municipal water, wastewater, stormwater and civil infrastructure will continue to be the main driver of our industry. Sustainability and asset management are becoming increasingly important as municipalities and utilities develop their annual Capital Improvement Plans with the goal to prioritize spending of available funds.

“Wright-Pierce continues to assist many municipalities in evaluating and strategically prioritizing their infrastructure upgrade needs with solutions tailored to achieve short- and long-term technical goals and match financial constraints,” Braccio added.
