BIDDEFORD — Adrien L.P. Delage, age 88, of Biddeford died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 at St. Andre’s Heath Care Facility with his family by his side.

He was born July 29, 1929 in Biddeford to Odilion and Ernestine (Guilbeault) Delage, and completed the 6th grade.

On June 30, 1956 he married Alice Letarte at Notre Dame Church in Saco.

Adrien was a proud Veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War. From 1960 to 1990, he was employed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a pipe welder. Adrien enjoyed playing music and hosting musical events in his garage. Adrien enjoyed camping, woodworking and his many trips to Scotland. He will be greatly missed.

Adrien is survived by his wife of 61 years Alice (Letarte) Delage; sons Kenneth J. and David M. of Biddeford; granddaughter Stepahnie Cecile Delage; and sister Pauline Tardie and her husband Clayton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Armand, Raymond, Roger and Paul, and sisters Laurette Laverriere and Doris Marks, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 100 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 08, 2018 at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph Church in Biddeford, Maine. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford with military honors.
