SALEM, Mass. — Robert L. Wormwood Sr., 52, of Arundel, passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, March 17, 2016, at Salem Hospital in Salem, Massachusetts.

He was born in Biddeford on April 11, 1963, a son of George and Linda (May) Wormwood. He graduated from Biddeford High School.

Robert was an EMT for Arundel Fire Department of several years. He also owned and operated Affordable Detailing in Arundel for 10 years, Top Tunes Entertainment and Poor Boyz in Biddeford for several years.

Robert was an avid woodworker and country music singer. He won many awards, and sang at the Country Music Tonight Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Robert also enjoyed following the Boston Red Soxs and New England Patriots. Most of all, he loved his family and his four dachshunds, Slynkie, Boomer, Breezy and Skeeter.

He was preceded in death by: his father, George; one brother, Mark; and one sister, Helen Clay.

He is survived by: his mother, Linda Croteau and her husband Gerard; his wife of 18 years, Brenda (Howard) Wormwood; three children, Bobby L. Wormwood, Melissa L. Wormwood, and William B. Wormwood; one grandson, Calvin; two brothers, George Wormwood and Roger Wormwood and his wife Sophia; five sisters, Georgette Gilbert and her husband Mike, Fannie Waterman, Jane Petrin, Joan Normandeau and her husband Don, and Ruth Avery and her husband Aaron; step-siblings, Tommy, Joey, Lynne and Lori; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 4- 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Anchor Baptist Church in Biddeford.
