WELLS — The Wells Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 3rd Annual Veterans Day 5K at 10 a.m. Nov. 12. The 5K run/walk will start and end at the Wells Elks Lodge, 356 Bald Hill Road. Proceeds for this event will benefit Honor Flight Maine. Gorham Savings Bank is the primary event sponsor.

The cost for adults is $20 for adults and $15 for students, ages 11-17, prior to Nov. 10 . After that date the cost is $25 for adults and $20 for students. Children 10 and under are free. The first 150 registrants will receive a free long-sleeve T-shirt.

The Wells Elks will sell food and beverages after the race. Prizes will be awarded several age categories.
