SACO — Darlene G. Farrell, 58, of Village Green passed away Saturday Nov. 5, 2016 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice house in Scarborough.

She was born in North Kingston, Rhode Island June 7, 1958, the daughter of Fred and Theresa LePettiere Thacker. 

Darlene attended local schools and graduated from Warwick Vets High School. 

After high school, she worked at the Psychiatric Department for Maine Medical Center. She was later employed by IHOP in South Portland for 38 years and most recently for T.J. maxx in Biddeford. 

Darlene loved the beach, playing darts and gardening with her flowers around her home.
She enjoyed downhill skiing and had been at instructor for Mt. Abrams. 

She is a member of Good Shepherd Parish.

Darlene is survived by her mother Theresa (Terry) Clark of Seekonk, Massachusetts, her husband of 38 years, Patrick Farrell of Saco, 2 daughters Tonya Farrell of Saco and Rosheen Farrell and her partner Mark Pate, 2 brothers Charlie Clarks of North Carolina, and Brian Clarks of Rhode Island, a sister Denise of Florida, and a granddaughter, Kayla Farrell. 

Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St., Saco, 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016.

A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
