
She was born in Fort Fairfield on June 24, 1965, to Percy Jr. and Martha Parady. She graduated from Fort Fairfield High School in 1984. After high school, she joined the U.S. Navy, where she served for 10 years until 1994.
While serving in the Navy, Terry met her husband, Duane Thompson. They were married shortly thereafter. Together they have three lovely daughters. Terry was proud to graduate from Seacoast with a degree in massage therapy.
She loved watching movies, knitting, and attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She also enjoyed taking each of her daughters out on mother-daughter days.
Terry is survived by: three daughters, Tiffany Bowman, Emilie Thompson, and Holly Thompson, all of Biddeford; two granddaughters, Addison Thompson and Julia Thompson-Chase; a stepfather, Lester Parady; several siblings, Carla Finley and husband Keith of Old Orchard Beach; Paul Parady and wife Ann of Fort Fairfield; Tammy Parady of Fort Fairfield; Rick Parady and wife Gail of Dayton; Leslie Henderson and husband Allen of Arundel; Nicole Avila, and Kristie Boucher.
She is preceded in death by: her brother, Scott Parady; father, Percy Parady Jr.; mother, Martha Parady; and husband, Duane Thompson.
Services for Terry will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Veterans of Foreign Wars, 130 Presque Isle St., Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Childhood Leukemia Foundation, 807 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723 or online at cl4kids.org.
