BIDDEFORD — Students from Biddeford’s Alternative Pathways Center are hosting their first Community Cookie Decorating event on Thursday, Dec. 20.
This free event is open to all ages. It is an open-house style event in which participants may drop-in when it is convenient for them between 3 and 5 p.m. at 73 Bacon St. in Biddeford.
“Our students are looking forward to engaging with the students in the neighborhood and hope others will attend this fun holiday event,” said APC Director Martha Jacques. “In addition to decorating cookies, it will give community members the opportunity to meet our staff, tour the building and enjoy some hot chocolate.”
The Alternative Pathway Center’s mission is to give alternative learners an opportunity to obtain a Biddeford High School diploma through coursework that is individualized, project-based and is combined with pre-vocational training, work experience, and social and emotional learning.
