Are you passionate about food? Do you know the difference between a pork loin and pork belly?

The Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram is looking for a freelance restaurant reviewer. Applicants should be knowledgeable about food – experience in the restaurant industry is a plus – but also able to review a meal from the consumer’s perspective. They shouldn’t be afraid to step on some toes, but snark should be left on the back burner. Applicants should be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to meet deadlines. Professional writing experience required. Some journalism experience preferred.
