SACO — Michael Dean Daigle, 40, of Saco, passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, after battling a long illness.
Michael was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on July 19, 1974, to Richard and Brenda (Lingard) Daigle.
Michael had been employed as a chef for many years, before becoming a therapeutic foster parent. Michael really enjoyed helping to be a positive role model in a child’s life and helping children in a time of need.
Michael was a man with a heart of gold, and was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
Michael is survived by: his parents, Richard Daigle and Brenda Daigle; his son, Austin J.M. Daigle; and three siblings, Rick Daigle, Erick Daigle and Michelle Daigle.
