ARUNDEL — The Arundel Conservation Trust will host its first-ever Annual Meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 14.
The Annual Meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Community Center at the Cape Arundel Cottages on Route 1.
“We welcome everyone to join us to hear details about ACT’s progress and what we have planned for our Arundel conservation efforts this year,” said ACT President Joan Hull. “Attendees will get to meet our board members, learn about volunteer opportunities and see a calendar of 2019 community activities we have planned.”
Appetizers and refreshments will be served at the meeting and the agenda will also include announcement of the Arundel Conservation Trust’s first Community Hero award.
Recently awarded 5019(c)(3) nonprofit status, the Arundel Conservation Trust is a chapter of the long-established Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. Building on 40-plus years of experience, the ACT is dedicated to creating a stronger, more vibrant community that honors our heritage through the conservation of our unique natural, recreational, and scenic resources for the enjoyment of all.
