SPRINGVALE — Jane Wagg Webb, 77, of the Village of Springvale, in the City of Sanford, passed away at H.D. Goodall Hospital on Jan. 28, 2015.

Jane was born on April 23, 1937 in Lewiston, the daughter of Leona and Lawrence Wagg.

She attended Nasson College where she met the love of her life, John E. “Jack” Webb. They married on June 11, 1960 and made their home in Sanford where they raised their two sons.

Jane was widely regarded among her friends and family as an amazing mother, wife, friend and cook. Her popovers, in particular, are coveted by family and extended family. Her life and interests were her family and her community.

She is survived by: her husband, Jack; her son, Jeffrey, his partner Karen and his three boys, David, Daniel and Douglas; her son, John, his wife Laurie and their two children, Jack and Jenna; her sister, Blanche Hays of Batavia, Illinois; her cousin, Mary Parsons of Lisbon Falls; and a long list of great friends.

The family will have a private memorial service at Oakdale Cemetery later in the spring.
