SOUTH BERWICK — Robert Earl Melanson of South Berwick died on March 2, 2015 after a graceful and courageous journey through Alzheimer’s.

He was born on April 9, 1940 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire to Omer Joseph and Wilma (Knox) Melanson.

Robert was born again on Feb. 3, 1979 into the family of God by trusting in the redemptive death of His Savior Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of his sins, and has now gone on to his heavenly home for eternity.

Bob worked for the State of Maine, L.A. Hanna & Sons Well Drilling, Allied Landscaping, Eno Brick Yard and the lumber industry as a young man with his dad and brothers.

He was a member of the family of Shiloh Christian Church in Eliot, and had joy in praising, worshipping and serving the Lord with those of like precious faith.

He loved the outdoors and hunting with his brother Wayne, and nephew, Jon Richard Chamblee. He will be greatly missed for a while, until we meet again on that day without end.
