Sanford Junior High School Band members composed music to honor fallen veterans from World War II and Korea in ceremonies Tuesday at Sanford Performing Arts Center. They also honored the late Capt. Daniel Tranchemontagne , who had served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He died of cancer in 2004.  TAMMY WELLS/Journal Tribune
