WELLS—The band On Tap is this week’s featured performer at the Wells Harbor Concert Series on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
This band features wonderful instrumentation and quality vocals mixed with a wide variety of music – mostly Rock and Pop with some Country and Blues.
The free concert is at the Hope Hobbs Gazebo in Wells Harbor Park (in case of rain, the concert is at the Wells Junior High gym on Route 1).
The wonderful musicians of On Tap have been entertaining people for years by blending their diversified talents. The vocals are delightful, with great guitar and bass instrumentation and drums that bring the total sounds of the band together.
This group will present a dynamic mix of songs for all ages, from the Beatles to Adele to the Neon Trees, and will have the audience foot-tapping to their enthusiastic presentation and pleasing music. It will be a wonderful way to spend an evening in Maine.
This is the seventh concert in the free ten concert series on Saturday evenings (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) weekly through Aug. 31.
The concerts are held in Wells at the scenic Wells Harbor Park in the Hope Hobbs Gazebo (in the event of rain they will be moved a short distance to the Ward Gym at Wells Jr. High School on US Route. 1). The full concert series features well known, professional musicians who present various types of music for folks of all ages. There is plenty of free parking or take the Wells Trolley directly to the park.
Admission is free (contributions accepted) and there is abundant park bench type seating. You can bring your own blanket, folding chair and/or a picnic and we highly recommend bringing a friend or two to enjoy some great music in a beautiful setting. Come every week for a fun, relaxed evening of wonderful entertainment with lots of good folks in a scenic spot.
