For a magical experience in and among hundreds of gorgeous, blooming sunflowers, make a day trip to Dayton over the long weekend. The Sunflower Festival includes a stroll through the sunflower field, visiting with farm animals, playing on the jumping pillow (giant trampoline anchored to the ground, filled with air and big enough to fit 25 people), rolling around in the corn pit (think sandbox filled with five tons of corn kernels) and live music from a capella group Northern Pitch.

Boston comic Jonathan Tilson has been cracking people up all over the East Coast and does so with what’s been described as dark twists and aloof charm. Host Kevin Hebert will warm you up, and then it’s off to the LOL races with another Bostonian named Logan O’Brien and New Yorker Jenae Boston, along with a few other local funny folks, culminating with headliner Tillson. Chances are good you have Monday off, so don’t miss this chance to end up in stitches without a trip to the hospital.
