Sept. 29: University of Maine School of Law will host a Constitution Day Colloquium, “Executive Power in a Time of Terrorism: The Rule of Law and Judicial Independence.” The forum will take place at 4 p.m., first floor of the University of Maine School of Law building in Portland and is free and open to the public.

Sept. 30: Lakes Brew Fest at Point Sebago Resort in Casco. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sample beers & wine from the Craft Brewing Industry. Oct. 5: The Windham Child Care Providers and Windham School Age Child Care Program will be sponsoring a free presentation on “Life Happens! Parenting Resilient Kids” at the Windham High School Auditorium from 7 to 9 p.m. The guest speaker will be Chris Trout, author and founder of Strengths in Focus. Oct. 6: Community meal from 4:30 to6 p.m. at Christ Chapel, 37 Northern Pines Road near Crescent Lake in Raymond. Food will be continually served, so come anytime.
