Nomination papers for November’s municipal election in Cape Elizabeth are now available at the Town Clerk’s office.
Two seats on the Town Council and two seats on the School Board are up. The seats are currently held by councilors Caitlin Jordan and Molly MacAuslan and School Board members Susana Measelle Hubbs and Michael Moore. All are three-year terms.
Anyone interested in running for local office must turn in between 25 and 100 signatures of registered voters and each nominee must appear in person at the Town Clerk’s office to complete their nomination papers.
All papers are due by closing on Friday, Sept. 9. The Town Clerk’s office is open Monday, 7:30 a.m-5 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information, email debra.lane@capeelizabeth.org or call 799-7665.
