The Gentlemen Capers took second at the Class B Swimming and Diving Championships on Monday, Feb. 15, earning 271.5 points to No. 1 Ellsworth’s 362. Third-place MDI accrued 262.5.; 23 schools competed. The meet was held at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. Alex Mukai finished second in the 500 Free and Sam Loring finished third in the 200 IM and the 100 Breast as well.
The Lady Capers took second at the Class B Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, Feb. 13, earning 314 points to trail No. 1 Greely by just seven – the Rangers totaled 321. Third-place Kennebunk amassed 222. A total of 22 schools competed at the meet at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. The 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay squads took first, and the 200 Free Relay outfit claimed second. Olivia Tighe won the 200 Free and earned second in the 500 Free, and Alicia Lawrence took third in the 50 Free and second in the 100 Free.
