Help pay tribute to the men and women who have served to protect our country. Attend the Memorial Day Parade at 9 a.m on Monday, May 29. It will travel Route 202 from the rotary to the High School. For more information call Dave Tanguay at 892-1306.

Al and Marlene Baxter, Lotts Drive, have returned home after spending 5 months in South Carolina. They traveled to Florida to visit some family and did some sightseeing in South Carolina. They had a very good winter!

Project Graduation

There is still time to get tickets to the Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers game and support Windham High School’s Project Graduation. The game is June 10 and the cost is $90 per person. The price includes the bus and the game ticket. Simply call Bill at “Our Tickets” at 787-3184 and mention Windham Project Graduation and a portion of the sales will benefit Windham.

Concert

There is a benefit concert for the Don Gordon Scholarship Fund of Windham High School Sunday, June 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Keeley the Katerers on Warren Avenue. This is a scholarship for a Windham High School senior who will study music. There is no entrance fee, donations only. The music will be provided by: Rick Gordon, Port City Jazz, Tom Snow, Don Doane, Joe LaFlamme, Ralph Norris, Terry White Big Band, and others.

Graduated

Harriet Haskell, daughter of Clayton and Kathy Haskell of Harriett Avenue, graduated May 13 from SUNY Cobleskill in New York. She received a Bachelors Degree

in Animal Science. Harriet is now employed at Pineland Farms as the manager of the beef herd.
