Jennifer M. Jortberg of Scarborough has been named a vice president at Morse, Payson & Noyes, an affiliate of Banknorth Insurance Group in South Portland. She will continue to oversee and provide claim services to large commercial accounts in her role as a supervisor in commercial lines claims and loss control.
Jortberg joined Banknorth Insurance in 1994 and has 18 years in the insurance industry. She previously served as a multi-lines claims adjuster at another large insurer.
A resident of Scarborough, Jortberg volunteers at the Root Cellar and the Preble Street Resource Center, both in Portland. She is a 1985 graduate of the University of Southern Maine. A native of Saco, Jortberg is a 1981 graduate of Thornton Academy.
