The public is invited to travel to the New England Spring Flower Show Saturday, Mar. 11 (March 12 snow date) with the Cumberland County Master Gardeners, bus excursion. Feb. 11: Windham Drifters Snowmobile Club hosts a “Ride-Over” the club’s new bridge on the Pleasant River from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hot coffee and snacks available (for a donation) to all snowmobilers.
Feb. 11-12: 16th Annual Maine Home, Remodeling and Garden Show at the Cumberland County Civic Center features “Meet the Chefs” cooking series hosted by Portland’s Brenda Broder, the popular Home Theater and Automation Pavilion, free Edy’s ice cream (noon-2 p.m.) and super prize drawings. Show hours are Sat., 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sun. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission $7 adults; $5 seniors (65+); children under 10 free.
