Sponsored by the Starburst and WACT (We Are Christians Together) Youth Groups with Pastor Joyce. Homemade baked beans, hot dogs, casseroles, salads, brown bread, beverages and homemade pies. $7, $4.
Roast beef dinner – Saturday, Jan. 26, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Stevens Avenue Congregational Church, UCC, 790 Stevens Ave., Portland. All you can eat roast beef, homemade mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and pies. $9; $7. College students with ID; $7, children over 13; and $5, kids 12 and under.
Free community dinner – Monday, Jan. 28, 5:30 p.m., First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Gorham. Sponsored by Gorham Ecumenical Council. Roasted turkey served with stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, maple roasted root vegetables, squash, green bean dish, gelatin salads, homemade squares and cookies.

Winterfest chowder luncheon – Saturday, Feb. 2, 11a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (or until we run out), Christ Church, 6 Dane St., Kennebunk. Delicious homemade clam chowder, hot dogs in grilled rolls, chips, pickles, hot beverages, and fabulous homemade brownies, all for $7. Items will be available individually also. Parking is available both behind the church and in the lot across the street.
