The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce has tapped Dawn Dyer as board director and clerk for the business organization.
The officer position has been vacant since early January after the passing of Lawrence Sawyer of Sawyer, Sawyer & Minott, a longtime chamber member and supporter.

Prior to opening her own practice, Dyer worked as a paralegal at the Law Office of Sawyer, Sawyer & Minott, while attending law school in Boston in the evening.
In addition to serving as both a director and the chamber’s clerk, Dyer will be chairing the Government Affairs Committee.
“The chamber is thrilled to have Dawn join the organization in a leadership role and we look forward to maximizing on her commitment to her community and the businesses of this region,” said Aimee Senatore, executive director of the chamber.
Other executive officers of the chamber include President Julie Arsenault of WGME, Channel 13, 1st Vice President Al Brown of Bucks Naked BBQ, 2nd Vice President Ed Powell of Peoples United Bank, Secretary Tina Christophersen of Windham-Raymond Adult Education and Treasurer Mary Sawyer, of Gowen, Sawyer & Co.
