The Southwestern Maine Activities Association recently announced their 2006 field hockey all-star team.
Bonny Eagle had a strong showing on this year’s all-star team with Alyssa Dunn, Amy Richardson and Meghan Ledoux making the first team and Kara Lombardo receiving an honorable mention.
Windham’s all-stars included Skylar Duncanson and Sarah Brown with Sam Skvorak as an honorable mention. And Windham’s Cory Merrill was chosen as the Coach of the Year.
The other SMAA all-stars included: Emma Deans, Chanelle Hallsworth and Leigh Maniscalco of Gorham; Erin Murphy, Julia Cuddy and Molly McDonough of Westbrook; Drielle Mitchell, Lauren L’Heureux and Bethany Bougie of Sanford; Kelsey Carrier and Nichole Kimborowicz of Biddeford; Allyson Thompson of Thornton; Brittany Ross and Sarah Bonefant of Scarborough; Jessica Ruhlin and Christine Boucher of Deering; Kristina Aceto and Dani Garland of South Portland; Meg Cram and Renee Leach of Massabesic; Luisa Franson and Mallory Pelkey of Cheverus; Erica Fernandez of Noble; Courtney Curtis of Portland; Jess Lavoie of Kennebunk; Morghan McAleney of McAuley; and Samantha Kilgour of Marshwood.
