Food pantry

hours for seniors

The Windham Food Pantry on Gray Road is open on the first Monday each month for senior citizens from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Madeline Roberts changed the day this year so seniors can receive fresh fruit and produce which is available only on Mondays. If seniors cannot make it on Monday morning, they can continue to come in the evening. The pantry is currently collecting personal hygiene items, which cannot be purchased with food stamps, including soap, toothpaste and brushes, body wash, shaving gear, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, etc. Also needed are cleaning supplies, like detergent. If you have a few extras, consider donating them to the Food Pantry. Any questions, give Madeline Roberts a call at 892-1931.
