The Centre of Movement School of Performing Arts in Gorham is holding a 24 Hour Dance-a-thon starting on Oct. 8 to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The dancing at the school, located at 19 State St. in Gorham, will begin at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 8 and end at the same time the following day.

A silent auction will be held at the dance. All the proceeds will go toward hurricane relief.
