Clarke on dean’s list
Jessica Clarke, a senior, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
Clarke majored in radiation therapy at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Lawn flea market
The deacons of the First Congregational Church of Buxton (Tory Hill Church) is sponsoring a flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, on the lawn at the church, corner of routes 112 and 202.
The sale includes lots of items “you can’t live without,” the deacons said.

Cassidy celebrates
Cassidy Merrill turned 10 years old on July 14.
She shares the same birth date as Gerald Ford, 38th president of the United States, who was born in 1913.
Bonny Eagle enrollment
SAD 6 has announced enrollment procedures for both Bonny Eagle high and middle schools.
Appointments for enrollment at Bonny Eagle High School, 700 Saco Road, Standish, are available by calling the guidance office at 642-9080 or 929-3840. The office is open 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the summer. There won’t be an open enrollment date as new students can register throughout the summer.
At Bonny Eagle Middle School, 92 Sokokis Trail, Buxton, enrollment will be 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 22; Wednesday, Aug. 23; and Thursday, Aug. 24. For an appointment to enroll, call the guidance office at 642-9071 or 929-3833. Testing will be done at 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25.
Students enrolling at both schools need to provide proof of legal guardianship, proof of residency, a transcript or report card, Social Security number, immunization record, all course information and grades if home-schooled and if special services, copy of most recent I.E.P. and minutes of the last P.E.T. or evaluation.
In addition, middle school students are required to bring a birth certificate with the name of registering parent.
