Sean Lally pounds fists with his son Conor, 5, after being sworn in as a sergeant with the Westbrook Police Department Friday. Lally, 36, who has been with the department for 11 years joins his brother, Patrick, who was promoted to sergeant in 2007. Sean Lally had been working as a detective with the department, as well as with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity,” he said at the ceremony.
