A 31-year-old man was charged with elevated aggravated assault after a stabbing in Westbrook late Tuesday morning.
At around 11:45 a.m., police responded to a fight outside 124 Brackett St. where a 21-year-old man had received several stab wounds.
Ambessa Hagos, who lives at the Brackett Street home, was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Jail.
The victim was brought to Maine Medical Center. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
An investigation is ongoing.
