Scarborough’s Hagerman named to GNAC all-stars
Lauren Hagerman of Scarborough, who is a member of the St. Joseph’s College women’s soccer team has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s soccer all-conference second team.
Hagerman anchored a St. Joseph’s defense that allowed just four goals in the last eight games of the year. She is a tenacious shutdown defender who can play centrally or out wide. The all-conference selection is the first of Hagerman’s career.
Scarborough native wraps up field hockey season at Bentley
Nicole Chaloux-Pinette of Scarborough, a graduate of Scarborough High School, has just wrapped up her freshman season on the Bentley University field hockey team.
The Waltham, Mass.-based Falcons saw their national title hopes and 16-game winning streak end on Nov. 14 with a 3-2 loss to UMass-Lowell in the NCAA Division II national semifinals in Bloomsburg, Pa.
