The South Portland Fire Department responded to a warehouse at 167 Rumery Road at about 9 p.m. Saturday night for a partial roof collapse. The building was empty at the time, and no injuries were reported, Lt. Robb Couture said.
Approximately 40 feet of the structure’s roof was compromised by heavy snow load. Building owners were contacted, utilities secured, and the fire department cleared the scene at 10:20 p.m., Couture said.
