Road Race

set for Saturday

Sponsored by Hancock Lumber, the 37th annual Casco Days Road Race will take place on Saturday, July 25, at 9:30 a.m.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, however day-of registration will be available Saturday between 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Casco Community Center on Route 121 in Casco Village. All contestants are required to check in at registration prior to the start of the race, even if they are pre-registered.

Bus transportation is provided from the Village Green registration area to the starting line. Awards are given to the top two female and male race winners, and to all category winners and runners-up.

Age groups include 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-plus.

Camp categories, in which only area campers are eligible, include 13 and under and 14-16.

The race entry fee, which goes to the Casco Fire Association, is $18 until July 21 and $20 after July 21 through race day.

Casco Days is a whirlwind of fun, food and festivities that revolve around the epicenter of Casco, Casco Village. The annual tradition always takes place the last Saturday of July.Courtesy photo
