Pingree graduates Air Force training
Air Force Airman Jared E. Pingree has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Pingree is the son of Roger Pingree of Haines Meadow Road and Cheryl Pingree of E. Sangerville Road, Sangerville.
During the six weeks of training, Pingree studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies. He performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen, who complete basic training, earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Airman Pingree is a 2005 graduate of Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford.
