Members of Bonny Eagle’s Mock Trial Team held a dress rehearsal in front of a “real jury” Monday night to help them prepare for Thursday’s semi-final round against Hamden Academy at the Federal District Courthouse in Portland. On trial is Haley Brunetti, played by Griffin Sherry, standing left. Representing him is his defense lawyer, played by Josh Douin, standing on right. Government teacher David Ezhaya has coached the team since its inception five years ago. The lawyer coach is 1977 Bonny Eagle graduate Jim Haddow.
