Library exhibit
Artist Varvara Harmon will be displaying her artwork over the next six months at the Windham Public Library. Each month between now and the end of April, Harmon will have a rotating display of her pieces. photography, oils, acrylics, watercolors, pen and inks, and prints (not necessarily in that order). Beginning with the current exhibit of photographs, Harmon’s work has certainly brought a splash of color and culture to the library walls.
Harmon was born and raised in Russia, but has been a resident of Windham for several years. Coming from a family of artists including sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, Harmon describes herself as having artwork in her blood, and by the pieces on display one certainly feels there is a strong art background there.
Please, stop by often to see this wonderful, changing exhibit. The Windham Public Library is located at 217 Windham Center Road, and is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. For more information or directions, please call the library at 892-1908.

Thank You
Thank you to all who made the pet food donation day at the Kennel Shop on Nov. 26, for the benefit of the Windham Food Pantry, such a success. Much needed pet food was donated and will be put to good use. Once again, the Kennel Shop was a huge help wth donating food itself and making sure customers were aware and given the chance to donate themselves. Many cats and dogs will benefit from everyone’s generosity. Thank you Barbara Muir for donating your time for this worthy cause.
