Two Westbrook residents were arrested on drug charges early Friday morning.
At 5:15 a.m., police arrested Rocco Corsetti, 61, of 131 Bridgton Road, and Venus McLean, 33, of the same address.
Corsetti was charged with aggravated trafficking of cocaine base and cocaine hydrochloride, and McLean was charged with possession of cocaine hydrochloride.
Corsetti has a history of possession and furnishing of drugs, according to Westbrook Police Chief Bill Baker.
During the search warrant, a large quantity of drugs packaged for sale was seized at the house, including some that was thrown out into the front yard by Corsetti as agents knocked his back door down, according to Baker.
Westbrook police made the arrests with the help and support of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Cumberland County Tactical Team.
