On Sunday, April 24, during the 8:30 a.m. Mass, the parishioners of the Westbrook Catholic Community presented Rev. Joseph Manship with a gift of a beautiful magenta vestment with a matching embroidered stole. Because this is the year of the Holy Eucharist declared by Pope John Paul II, the stole was embroidered with the Holy Eucharist symbolism.

This gift was presented to Manship to show appreciation for his dedication to the difficult task of the downsizing of the three Catholic parishes in Westbrook. He is working tirelessly on behalf of the Westbrook Catholic Community to see that this transition is made smoothly. Following the presentation, the parishioners gathered in the church hall for refreshments.
