The Jacob Clement Tavern was located at the present day intersection of routes 25 and 112 in West Gorham. The tavern had a dance hall upstairs. It was built by Clement, who was born in 1769. The intersection was once known as Clement’s Corner. The tavern doesn’t appear to have five-star status when the photo was taken.
