The Saint Joseph’s College baseball team recorded their best academic performance ever during the recent fall semester.
The team had four players who finished with a 4.0 grade point average (GPA), and the team GPA was right at 3.2.
One of the four players recording a 4.0 was Dustin Spiller who a little more that one year ago was out of school after leaving Eckerd College in Florida. Another 4.0 was turned in by Wade Oliver who was the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year in 2006 and the NAC Tournament MVP.
The team finished with 10 varsity players with a 3.5 GPA or higher and 20 players over a 3.0.
