With summer officially begun, what are your summer plans?
Howard and Carol Lloyd, 69 and 66, Naples
“Our summer plans are to stay here on Long Lake in Naples, relax and enjoy the lake. We’re having visitors from Florida and we’ll also try to get on our jet skis. And visit with the grandchildren from Massachusetts.”
Leon Ordway, 38, Windham
“I’ve just got back from Iraq and I’m looking forward to spending time with my family. We’re planning on doing a lot of family stuff – boating, jet skiing, and other stuff in the Sebago Lake area.”
Jason Ajello, 31, Windham
“I’m waiting for winter to come back, that’s my summer plan. I’m an avid snowboarder so summer is a time to work and save money for the winter. In the summer I work as a tattoo artist.”
Ann Hall, 54, Casco
“No big plans. I am going to the New England Ghost Conference. That’ll be fascinating. I also enjoy going to the Maine Wildlife Park. Maybe we’ll go to Aquaboggin, too. But no big plans. We can’t afford it when gas is $2 a gallon. But my hubby and I have fun doing things together. He just built a home theater in the basement so we’ll be watching movies down there.”
Erin (and son Sampson) McKay, 24, Gray
“I’m getting married July 16, so I’m spending a lot of time planning for that. And I’m looking forward to seeing our families because our families are everywhere.”
Nicole Kierstead, 22, Westbrook
“My first nephew is due with the next two weeks and having him will keep me busy for the summer, that’s for sure. But, other than that, I’m working and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy the sun if we ever get any.”
