I have known Malory Shaughnessy for years and am excited that she wants to bring her many talents to Cumberland County government. With an undergraduate degree in political science/economics and a master’s degree in public policy, she has the background and knowledge to bring new ideas and solutions to county government.
Malory is a natural born advocate who is always wondering how things can be made better. She has held positions that have focused on affordable utilities, health care and currently underage drinking. Her passions have also included raising four sons with her husband, Michael.
Unlike her opponent, who claims he was elected, when in fact he was appointed to serve out a term, Malory will never mislead the public. Her integrity is validated by her actions and words. The Portland Press Herald and the Southern Maine Labor Council have judiciously endorsed Malory. Join me in voting for Malory Shaughnessy as Cumberland County Commissioner.
