TruChoice scholarships available
TruChoice Federal Credit Union President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Acker is offering scholarships to its members with graduating seniors.
Each year, TruChoice FCU gives four $500 scholarships. All applicants must currently be high school seniors, must be attending a college/university/technical school in fall 2007, and must be a member or immediate family of a member of TruChoice FCU.
Applications are available at TruChoice branches across from Hadlock Field in Portland and at the intersection of Routes 202 and 22 in Buxton and must be submitted by April 30.
“A group of employees volunteers each year to review the applications and select the recipients,” Acker said. “It’s difficult to narrow it down to four, but it is so rewarding that we get to help anyone at all.”
