The Westbrook American reported on July 17, 1963, that Cynthia Gilman was honored on her fifth birthday with a party by parents Mr. and Mrs. Warren B. Gilman.

Gertrude Elwell, who had been attending summer school in Waterville, was at home in West Buxton.
