Senior citizens Ogunquit bound

Westbrook Senior Citizens will leave Westbrook for Ogunquit at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, for an outing featuring a trolley ride to Perkins Cove, shopping in the village and a lobster dinner followed by a show.

At Ogunquit Playhouse, the seniors will see a production of the musical “West Side Story,” and even visit back stage.

The seniors are also planning a trip to Indian Head in Lincoln, N.H., on Sunday, Dec. 1. For more information about the trips, call 854-2705 or 883-5046.

This month’s “Breakfast with the Mayor and Other Elected Officials” will take place on Saturday, June 29, at 9 a.m., at Presumpscot River Adventures in Riverbank Park (Main Street, Westbrook). Residents are invited to stop by, grab a free bite to eat, a free hot coffee, sit around the picnic tables and discuss current topics with the city’s elected officials.

While there, residents can get a voucher for a free one-hour kayak or paddleboard rental!

Free park concert

A Christian concert is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, in Riverbank Park on Main Street.

The concert features Channels of Blessing and other Christian entertainment. Take your own lawn chairs.
