A little midday rain didn’t dampen the mood at the Lakes Brew Fest last Saturday at Casco Days Fair Grounds. Hundreds turned out to taste Maine’s finest brews. Of the 12 brewers who participated this year, Bray’s Brew Pub in Naples won People’s Choice for Best Beer, and Blacksmith’s Winery in Casco won People’s Choice for Best Wine. Here are some highlights from the event. Photos by photojournalist Megan Booth.
