Meeting
The Windham Health Council will hold their last meeting of the year May 3. They will be going to dinner at a local restaurant. They always have a dinner meeting for their last meeting.
Reminder
Remember to go to the Parson Smith House at 93 River Road tomorrow. There will be guided tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $10 per person and $15 for a family. This is a fundraiser for the Parson Smith House Committee of the Windham Historical Society.

Beulah Mason of Varney Mill Road has returned home after spending a few days in Maine Medical Center. She had a heart procedure done.
Meeting
The Rebekahs will meet May 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall. This will be a mother and daughter night and other Lodges are also being invited. The refreshments will consist of Ice Cream Sundaes and fruit.
Dinner
Bob and Mary Bouchard of Falmouth Road entertained family members for Easter dinner. Those attending were: Rose and Foster Burke of William Knight Road and Kevin, Missy and Cassidy Bailey of Falmouth Road. They also celebrated Missy’s birthday.
Back Home
Elsie Haskell, Nash Road, has returned home after having back surgery in Maine Medical Center. She spent a total of six weeks in the hospital, at Brighton Re-Hab and at Brentwood in Yarmouth. Elsie would like to thank everyone for the cards, flowers, calls and visits.
Supper
There will be a public ham and bean supper on Saturday, May 6 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Windham Hill Church of Christ, 140 Windham Center Road. The meal includes: ham and hot dogs, three varieties of baked beans, potato salad, tossed salad, macaroni and cheese, brown bread and biscuits, homemade pies, coffee, tea and punch. There is a donation of $6 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under.
Home from Florida
Ira and Betty Wyman, Gray Road, returned home from St. Cloud, Florida on April 2. They had been there since November. Betty and her daughter left April 17 to travel to Mexico and came home on the 25th.
Retreat
Marge Hansen, Roosevelt Trail, and her daughter, Janet Waterhouse, recently spent the weekend in North Conway, New Hampshire at the Red Jacket. They attended a Quilters Retreat. There were workshops and they did some sewing. There were a total of 75 quilters that took part. This is the 15th year this retreat has been held and Marge has attended every one of them.
